Hollywood is Los Angeles’ most famous suburb. Due to Hollywood’s fame and cultural identity as the historical center of the movie industry, the city of Hollywood is often used to depict the motion picture industry.

Many historic Hollywood Theatres are used as venues and concert stages to premiere major theatrical releases and award shows.

Hollywood is a popular destination for the nightlife, tourism and home to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with the “stars” on the sidewalk. It is also home to the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre with the handprints and footprints of the “rich and famous” imprinted in the cement in front of the theatre. Kodak Theatre and the Hollywood Highland complex is also there, in close proximity to the old Farmers Market and The Grove.
