Valerie Garcia

As a Director of Sales for DLA, Valerie’s responsibilities and focus are on targeting and growing new business in the Government and Energy Markets as well as the Tour Industry.

Valerie recently joined DLA after retiring from a 35-career in the Aerospace and Defense Industry where she was responsible for purchasing high-dollar materials and services to support government programs. She held such positions as Major Subcontracts Manager, F-22 Material Program Manager, as well as Supplier Diversity Representative in Supply Chain Management at Raytheon and Hughes Aircraft Companies.

Valerie has earned several Certifications in Purchasing and Material Management from UCLA and has invested hundreds of hours towards education specializing in Supply Chain Management.

Valerie Personally researches, refines and test the custom tour pakages that are offered by Destanations LA Tours.  It is her personal touch that makes the difference in service and quality made available for our clients to experience.

In her spare time, Valerie practices Tai Chi & Yoga and enjoys roller skating, gardening, singing and spending time with family and friends.
